Welcome to Belmont Oasis.  We strive to provide a diverse and affordable range of quality health and fitness programs to all members of our community in a safe, friendly and fun environment which fosters an appreciation for a healthy and balanced lifestyle.

HEALTH CLUB

Our all inclusive Health Club offers full use of the Gym, Group fitness & Aqua facilities at an extremely affordable membership price.  Our Health Club memberships include full access to all of the Aquatic facilities including pools, spa and sauna.  If you would like to view our facilities please make an appointment with one of our friendly membership consultants for a guided tour and chat about our various membership options.
Our comprehensive 550m2 gymnasium is stocked with modern equipment and a wide range of services to help you meet your fitness goals.  Our open plan gym is the perfect strength training facility with over 40 pieces of weight lifting equipment, a designated free weight area and a stretching & abdominal area. We’ve got everything you need to sculpt that body of yours into a work of art.  

We have a full complement of over 30 pieces of cardio and fitness training equipment to help you achieve and maintain peak fitness. Your choice of equipment includes treadmills, recumbent bikes, upright bikes, rowers, steppers and cross trainers, so come rain, hail or shine it is the perfect place for a great workout.

Our qualified, dedicated staff are always on hand to offer exercise, dietary and lifestyle advice providing you the best opportunity of success.  We pride ourselves on our attention to detail, friendly customer service and superior industry knowledge ensuring every staff member maintains a registration with Fitness Australia.

All this combined with great music and an array of LCD TVs provides you with an energizing, stimulating atmosphere that motivates you and gives you the ability to push yourself even harder.  Before your know it you will be breaking through previous held boundaries and redefining new personal goals.

GYM
All members receive an appraisal and personalised program catered to their specific needs and fitness levels.  The exercise program is completed over a 3 month period after which we evaluate you again and write a completely new program designed to incorporate your new, improved fitness level.  This service is ongoing for the duration of your membership.

FITNESS APPRAISALS
Your comprehensive fitness appraisal includes:

  •  Completion of a pre-exercise health questionnaire
  •  Resting heart rate and blood pressure
  •  Girth and skin fold measurements
  •  Cardiovascular fitness testing
  •  Flexibility testing.

Bookings are essential, please enquire at the Gymnasium.

SUPERVISED WORKOUTS
Your Gym Instructor will accompany you through your first workout. This one-on one session will help you feel comfortable and confident with your personalised program.  Programs are reviewed and updated on a regular basis so that constant physical adaptations can be achieved. If you feel you need a program change please don’t hesitate to consult with an instructor and make an appointment to kick start your motivation with a brand new program.

Group fitness classes help to improve your cardiovascular conditioning, strength and flexibility, in a fun, social and motivating environment.

Belmont Oasis offers a wide range of group fitness classes with different levels and benefits to ensure that there is something for everyone. Our instructors are professionally trained and are always keen to welcome new faces no matter what your fitness level or age.
Enjoy the motivation of aerobic and yoga oriented training at your own level in a group environment in our fitness studio along with top quality advice on how to keep fit.

At Belmont Oasis, we have programmes for all ages including a variety of senior circuits specifically catered to our more mature patrons.  These classes are designed to accomplish improvements in strength, muscle tone, flexibility and balance, which all help to achieve a better quality of life.
We run a variety of Les Mills Group Fitness programmes including BodyPUMP, BodyCOMBAT , BodyATTACK, BodySTEP and BodyBALANCE.   These enormously popular group fitness classes are a fantastic way to get fit and have a heap of fun in the process.

We have recently added cycle classes to our group fitness program.  These indoor cycling classes combine various motivational and sports psychology techniques to help you improve cardiovascular fitness and expand energy in a controlled and focused session.  Great for building strength and toning your lower body, these classes cater to all fitness levels.

AQUA AEROBICS
We also boast a complete Aqua aerobic timetable with over 12 classes per week combining of Circuit45, H2Como, Nifty 50’s and H.I.T.  These are fantastic low impact classes conducted in our heated indoor pool.  The unique properties of water enable these physical improvements to occur in a relatively stress-free environment, which can be manipulated by each individual to provide resistance or assistance.  It is an ideal medium for people of all abilities and fitness levels.  Our instructors are qualified to adjust their classes to suit your specific needs including medical conditions and injuries.

PERSONAL TRAINING
Personal Training is an exclusive one-on-one or small group exercise program especially designed for you.   Working one-on-one with a Personal Trainer gives you the freedom to focus on development, specific to your needs and abilities. We combine cutting-edge technology with challenging, innovative, and proven methods to get results far beyond what you can expect to achieve independently. Personal Training is ideal for anyone who has become stuck on a weight-loss plateau or those needing motivation, exercise guidance and specialised training.
