Belmont Oasis Leisure Centre Management Transition

As previously announced, management of Belmont Oasis Leisure Centre will transition to Belgravia Leisure from 1 July 2026.

This page provides key information about the transition, including what it means for members, programs and services, and answers to some common questions.

Temporary Closure – 1 July 2026

In conjunction with the City of Belmont, we are undertaking important planned maintenance works, and to support Belgravia Leisure’s transition into the venue, including the delivery of comprehensive staff training and operational setup, Belmont Oasis Leisure Centre will be temporarily closed for the day on Wednesday, 1 July 2026.

Belgravia Leisure operates as part of Belgravia Health & Leisure Group Ltd (www.belgravialeisure.com.au).

Belgravia Health & Leisure Group Pty Ltd is an Australian company that also owns Genesis Fitness Clubs, Coaching Zone and Ninja Parc.

From July 2026, your membership direct debit day will change: 

  • Current Debit Day (BlueFit): Fridays (fortnightly) 
  • New Debit Day (Belgravia Leisure): Thursday (fortnightly)

Your membership payments will transition to the new schedule outlined above from July 2026 with the first debit transaction planned on July 2nd.   

Please note: your final debit from BlueFit will be a pro-rata debit for the 5 days of 26th to 30 June (inclusive). Your first debit payment for Belgravia Leisure will be on 2nd July for a full fortnightly amount

Your membership will continue uninterrupted 

  • Fitness Passport memberships will continue to be honoured 
  • Paid-in-full memberships and visit passes will remain valid 

No further action from members or pass holders is required at this time. 

  • Opening hours and access: No immediate changes planned 
  • Group fitness & programs: Expected to continue with minimal change. See the timetable here 
  • Swim school: Will transition to the GOswim program, with all progress recognised – learn more here
  • Personal training: Will continue where trainers transition across 

BlueFit, the City of Belmont and Belgravia Leisure are working closely to support staff through the transition. Many familiar team members are expected to remain at the Centre. 

In the coming months, members may notice: 

  • Updated branding, uniforms and signage 
  • Introduction of a new member app
