If you’ve noticed some changes just outside Belmont Oasis, it’s all part of the exciting progress on the Faulkner Civic Precinct Ornamental Lakes Renewal Works.
As of 31st March 2025, a portion of the park has been reopened to the public, providing access to the War Memorial and Gazebo. This marks the first key milestone in the renewal project and a great step toward revitalising this important community space.
Please note:
- The main project area, now slightly adjusted and marked by fencing (shown in red on-site signage), will remain closed off until June 2025.
- Power to the area-including the War Memorial and Gazebo-will remain offline until new distribution boards are installed, currently scheduled for mid-May 2025.
- New lighting pole locations outside the project zone are also fenced for safety.
While works are ongoing, we encourage our visitors and members to stay mindful of the barriers and signage in place. We look forward to seeing the full transformation of this beautiful civic space next door!
