Jan Newsletter Headings (10)
The kids were anything but blue these school holidays! For children, a long break from school is the highlight of the year but for parents, it can be a struggle to keep the kids amused. Kids love to spend hot days splashing around in a pool and these holidays the much loved and valued community pool was within easy reach. One of Perth’s coolest suburban aquatic centres – We offered an engaging kids holiday program throughout the entire Summer school holiday period. The Kids Holiday Programs kicked off on Monday 16th December through to Friday 31st January 2020 from 9am-3pm, with the Centre offering a variety of activities for kids to enjoy and while swimming, water slides, the indoor lagoon and giant inflatables will be the highlight, there will be adventures on terra firma as well. Interactive incursions included rock painting, making gingerbread men, children’s CPR class and a circus skills workshop. While off-site, kids got into the swing of mini-golf, a visit to swan valley cuddly farm, rock climbing and visit Kings Park Synergy. The program also included both active and creative time with movie watching, arts and crafts and a picnic to Tomato Lake all scheduled into the six-week program. Hosted by BlueFit Kids, all programs offer flexibility in attendance and are completely supervised. Each day offered a new and exciting quest, designed to help foster, promote and extend kid’s confidence, fitness and social abilities. The timetable was about variety and presenting a wide range of activities to meet the individual needs of all children.
