The plant room upgrades and pool closures are nearing completion. Underground balance tanks have been waterproofed, pipes and valves have been replaced, chemical safety systems upgraded and filter sand has been replaced within the main pool. We expect all pools will be open from the 21st of December ahead of the summer school holiday season. We appreciate everyone’s understanding during these times.
Upgrade of the stadium change rooms is well underway with the majority of the demolition already completed. These change rooms will feature a modern design and upgraded fixtures and features to make your visit a little more comfortable. The family change rooms in Aquatics, refurbished in 2019, are a little taste of what to expect when the stadium change rooms reopen in February.
All change rooms and toilet blocks across the centre will be refurbished over the next 12 months, with the aquatic change rooms scheduled to commence in February 2021 once the stadium change rooms reopen.
